Michael Amodeo

Mr. Amodeo is a primary consultant to Cricket Hill and conducts many of the auctions executed by the firm in the Northeast. Mr. Amodeo has been an auctioneer since 1961 and personally calls over 250 sales annually, making him one of the leading auctioneers in the nation. Mr. Amodeo has been Mr. Jarema's mentor & advisor since the firm's inception.

Brian Beckort

A second generation auctioneer for over 2 decades, Brian specializes in real estate and business liquidation matters,  especially when the two are tied together, as well as firearms and antiques.

David Farmer

Even with his thick Southern accent, David has traveled the world converting business assets into cash, not just in his home state or along the Gulf Coast, but across North and South America, Canada, and even Europe as well. Mr. Farmer began his career in 1984 and has quickly become one of his area's leading liquidation specialists.

Valerie Grimm

Don't let only 10 years of experience or her sweet demeanor fool you; Valerie has already been elected to the Board of Directors of her state's Auctioneer's Association 3 times by her peers and her extensive legal background has enabled her to navigate the often complex issues that arise with business liquidation and real estate sales.

Otis Holley

An auctioneer since 1980, Otis is a past board member of his state's Auctioneer's Association and a 2 time state bid calling champion. Capable of handling any asset class, his primary focus is meat processing & construction equipment, estates and automobiles, 

Bill Jarema

Mr. Jarema is the founder of Cricket Hill. A graduate of Manhattanville College, Mr. Jarema has been an auctioneer and liquidator for over 30 years, building the firm from scratch. What began in his Grandmother's garage, is now a firm with over 700 accounts and clients nationwide. His past experience also includes partnership, management, and consultant in over twenty different food service, bar, hospitality and retail venues including Studio54, The Marriott Corporation, and Tops Appliance City. Bill is responsible for overseeing all operations, business development and sales of the firm. He has personally conducted over 2900 auctions to date.

Frank J. LaPerch

Mr. LaPerch is counsel to the firm and is responsible for the various legal matters that may arise from time to time. He is a member of the State Bars of New York and New Jersey and specializes in bankruptcy, real estate, and commercial litigation in his private practice. He began his career as an intern in the Rockland County New York District Attorney's office and served as the Presiding Magistrate in the Village of Suffern, NY at the young age of just 31.

Mike McKee

Mike is one the newest members of our team and while his primary focus is business liquidation and vehicles his 30 years of experience makes him capable of selling any asset class at auction.

Gary Neimeier & Dennis Ahrens

With over 50 years of combined experience between them, Gary & Dennis bring to bear a perspective that simply no other team of auctioneers in their area can. They specialize in real estate, business liquidations, & farm machinery. 

Mike Rogers

An auctioneer since 1993, Mike likes to say he can "sell everything from Cadillacs to cookie jars". That's probably true; but what's he's known most for is liquidating business assets, especially when time is of the essence. 

Tim Stuart

Based in the North West, Tim has been an auctioneer for over decade specializing primarily in real estate, but is well known for being able to handle benefits, antiques and business liquidations as well, especially via the internet.

Randy Wells

Randy has conducted nearly 2000 auctions in his career and is one of the most respected auctioneers by his peers. Randy was not only a member of the Auction Marketing Institute Board of Governors and an instructor for the National Auctioneers Education Institute, but recently served as Chairman of the Board of the National Auctioneers Association. 

Spanky Assiter

As one of the youngest inductees into the National Auctioneers Association Hall of Fame, Spanky is widely recognized as one of the most sought after and dynamic auctioneers in the world. He is most known as the lead auctioneer for the Barrett Jackson Collector Car Auction from 1992-2015. Beyond that, the list of awards and accomplishments would take up this entire page. There is simply no one else in our line of work like Spanky.

Paul Colvin

Now with 20 years of experience under his belt, Paul has become his area's leading real estate specialist and has conducted some of the firm's biggest auctions in the Southwest. He was named the 2000 Auctioneer Champion of the Year in his home state.

Joe Bradley

A graduate of the Certified Auctioneers Institute, Joe has been an auctioneer since 1987. He specializes in nearly any asset type and is known for his aggressive "NYC" style auctions despite being on the west coast.

Mike Harper

With over 4 decades selling both real estate and business assets at auction, Mike is clearly one of our most experienced and knowledgeable auctioneers. In the course of his career in his own business, as well as being an IRS Property Appraisal & Liquidation Specialist, he has sold assets throughout the Eastern U.S., and the Caribbean. Mike is also a Certified Real Estate Instructor, teaching about a half-dozen of his own self-written real estate and tax related courses.

Sherm Hostetter
Paul Baugh

Despite only 10 years experience, "Tiger" has earned a fine reputation as his area's most scrupulous and meticulous auctioneer. Paul works closely with Mr. Wells, primarily on business liquidation matters, as well as his own clients such as his state's Transporation, Correction and Fish & Game departments.

Bob Bortenstein

Mr. Bortenstein is our inventory and equipment liquidation specialist on the west coast and conducts 2-3 warehouse auctions a month. He has been an auctioneer for almost 3 decades.

Mark Feuerer

A graduate of Princeton University, Mark not only runs one of our 3 auction locations but is the exclusive auctioneer for over 150 government agencies including the Counter Narcotics Alliance and Attorney General of his home state.

Marty Higgenbotham

A member of the National Auctioneers Association Hall of Fame, Marty is widely recognized worldwide as one of the foremost experts in selling real estate using the auction method of marketing. Marty has been an auctioneer for nearly 50 years.

Dave Huisman

A second generation auctioneer, Dave's experience is unmatched in his area. He currently serves on the board of directors of his home state's auctioneers association.


Sherm is currently Chairman of the State Board of Auctioneer Examiners in his home state and was inducted into the NAA Hall of Fame in 2015. And that's not all-throughout his esteemed career, Sherm has championed the auction industry by serving as either the President or board member of various auction and real estate related organizations at both the state and national level as well as winning numerous bid calling championships. Mr. Hostetter is also the broker of record for all of our real estate transactions and as such is repsonsible for supervising Mr. Jarema.

Jonathan Kraft

Jon took over from his Father in 2005 and since then has become his area's top auctioneer. He specializes in real estate, small business liquidation and heavy equipment and served as his home's state's auctioneers association president in 2015. He has also been an auctioneer bid calling champion in 2 states. 

Robert Mayo
Randy Kincaid

For over 2 decades, Randy has been conducting auctions throughout his area. He specializes in real estate, vehicles, machinery, medical equipment, antiques, collectibles and even theme parks. Randy is a past president of his home state's auctioneers association and was recently inducted into its hall of fame.

Kenny Lindsay

With over two decades of experience under his belt, Kenny is now one of the leading auctioneers in his home state. Kenny graduated at the top of his class at the Continental School of Auctioneering and recently won the prestigious Auction of the Year award from his state's auctioneer association. Kenny is a graduate of the Certified Auctioneer's Institute.

Darron Meares

Darron regularly conducts both real estate and business liquidation auctions throughout his region. He is a former member of the Board of the Directors and Chairman of the Education Institute of the NAA as well as a past auctioneer's association President and bid calling champion; in 2018, Darron was inducted to his home state's auctioneer's association Hall of Fame. 

Rich Ranft

Bob is one of our real estate marketing and business liquidation specialists in the Midwest. He was recently voted Auctioneer Champion of the Year in his home state and holds 5 major designations from the National Auctioneers Association.

Eliot Millman

For over 50 years, Eliot has been one of the leading auctioneers in the Northeast. While he is capable of handling any asset class, he is best known for his extensive expertise in liquidating both retail and wholesale businesses particularly when time is of the essence. 

Chris Rasmus

Since 1981 Chris has been successfully selling business and real estate assets using the auction method of marketing. In recent years, Chris began using the Internet as his primary marketing tool and today has become the nation's leading Internet only auctioneer. When an appropriate solution, Chris and Bill partner together to maximize a seller's recovery employing one or both of the traditional and modern selling methods.

Chad & Allison Shahan

A husband and wife team, both are capable of handling just about any asset class including boats, vehicles, equipment, inventory and estates as well as benefits and fundraising. 

An auctioneer since 1975, Rich is a past Director of his home state's auctioneer's association. While he specializes in Real Estate, he is also a court appointed personal property and equipment appraisal specialist.

Dale Schaetzke

Licensed in 3 states, Dale was recently inducted into his home state's Hall of Fame and has served as President of the Auctioneer's Association for 4 terms. He has won several awards of distinction, holds 2 NAA desigations and is a real estate instructor.. 

Scott Swenson

A past member of the board of directors of the National Auctioneer's Association and President of his home state's auctioneer's association, Scott is widely recognized as one of the leading auctioneers in the country. With licenses in 10 states, he has conducted over 1000 auctions across the U.S. & Mexico in his career of over 30 years.

Jeff Whiteford
Lance Walker

An auctioneer for over 40 years, along with his son Eric, Lance specializes in real estate, benefits and business liquidation. He has made his mark not only in his home state, but 1 other as well by being named to the Auctioneer's Hall of Fame and serving as both a President and VP of 2 state auctioneer's associations.

David Whitley

David is one of our real estate marketing and business liquidation specialists in the Mountain West. He was recently voted as Auctioneer of the Year in his home state and proudly serves on the Board of Directors of the NAA.

Jonathan Young

Jonathan is one of the best in the business when it comes to real estate, especially with luxury properties. He was recently recognized with a "Five Star" rating by Home Buyer Magazine, putting him among the elite 3% in client satisfaction.
